A procedure according to which activity in the valid accreditation certificate/field is modified is issued by the National Accreditation Department after the conformity assessment body submitted all the evidence to amend the certificate/field. - If the accredited body wishes to amend any activity in the field of accreditation. - If the approved entity wishes to change the commercial license, including the name of the entity and the ownership of the entity. - In the event of changing the location of the accredited conformity assessment body. - If the accredited conformity assessment body desires to partially or completely suspend the accredited fields' accreditation, or to cancel, in whole or in part, or reduce the approved fields. Service Procedure
Registration in the digital platform of MOIAT
- Login or Register to the Ministry services digital platform (
- Apply to “Amendment on the Accreditation Certificate of Conformity Assessment Bodies Certificate”
- Attach all required documents and forms specified in the application form.
- Approving the terms and conditions, and policies related to accreditation and attaching a signed copy of the agreement between the UAE National Accreditation System (the Ministry) and the applicant.
- Application review by the designated employee to check application data and attachments
- Payment of fees.
- Attach a final copy of the agreement signed by the UAE National Accreditation System (the Ministry) and the applicant.
- Close cases of non-conformity (if any).
- Planning a field assessment
- Carrying out the field assessment
- Close cases of non-conformity (if any).
- Payment of fees and costs incurred.
- Issuing the decision to amend a certificate/field of Accreditation
- Obtaining the certificate/modified field.
- Announcing the field of accreditation in the event of modification on the Ministry's website.
Requirements
- A valid trade license.
- A valid registration certificate issued by the Ministry (foreign conformity assessment bodies and medical laboratories are excluded).
- A valid accreditation certificate issued by the UAE national accreditation system.
- Quality manual and required technical documents.
- Any other documentary evidence of the required modification.

In addition, the entity shall bear all the costs and expenses incurred in amending the accreditation activity, in addition to the expenses of travel, transportation, the residence of the assessor, or any additional expenses.
